First described by Hippocrates 2,500 years ago, Homoeopathy (like cures like) as it is practised today evolved 200 years ago when a German physician, Samuel Hahnemann, observed the beneficial effects of minute doses of naturally occurring substances on the body. He was spurred into developing this new method of practicing medicine as at the time he believed the health of the people was being adversely affected by the approach of the time.
Due to the nature of homeopathic remedies and their safety they have often been the natural choice for the discerning patient.
Today we are unfortunately unable to present Homeopathy in its true light due to recent changes to advertising standards and the interference of the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority). Complementary Therapists are no longer permitted to provide useful information about the treatments they deliver making this page far less useful than originally intended.
However, please feel free to contact me if you would like further information or to make an appointment.
As with all medicines, keep out of reach of children.
