My yoga practice

I am a qualified yoga instructor and have been teaching since 2003.

I trained in the Sivananda yoga tradition which incorporates the four main areas of yoga: relaxation, pranayama or breathing techniques, the asanas or postures and meditation. The combination of these four areas helps us to achieve the clear mindedness, energy, vitality and stillness that we need in today’s world to remain centred and in good health.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about my yoga classes. I am fortunate to teach children, teenagers, adults, less mobile groups and those with mental health issues. I am available to teach small or large groups, one to one classes and other specialised groups. I am also qualified and experienced in teaching pre and post-natal yoga.


I teach regular classes for Fusion at Dulwich Leisure Centre and at Seven Islands Leisure Centre as well as at JAGS sports Club.

I taught children’s yoga classes for over 10 years as an after school club.

I teach a number of different classes to mental health patients at the Maudsley Hospital, helping to reduce anxiety levels and tension and allowing patients to feel more grounded.

One to one yoga/small groups:

One to one classes can be particularly helpful to anyone with specific problems, recovering from trauma or just as a supplement to a general practice.

In a personalised class we can focus on areas that a general class doesn’t allow for: specific variations, breaking down postures, working more closely on alignment and allowing more time to deepen your knowledge and practice of yoga.
